As a concealed carrier, I hate trying to drive with my firearm digging into my back, mostly the stippled grip. Not to mention the awkward position when it's holstered on my back. I installed this on the right side of the steering wheel, in the footwell. I was worried that it would be in my way but its not.  The thing I have to get used to is I carry with one chambered. I got to remember not to rack the pistol when grabbing it  and I can't stress trigger discipline! There are some mounts that cover the trigger but those to me don't seem to have enough space to properly grab your pistol. That's one thing i liked with this mount for was i am able to get a good grip on my pistol. A slight pull back and it comes right off the mount. So far, it hasn't fallen off the mount yet with some of these crappy arkansas roads. Well worth the $$$.

This was exactly what I needed. This magnet is strong & sturdy and works perfectly for the setup I was looking for! I hated having to keep my firearm under my mattress. I needed something that made my firearm more accessible and discreet.. Will definitely be purchasing another!

After a couple of weeks with this mounted in my truck, it’s been flawless. I bought a second that I mounted in my center console as well. Although I didn’t see any scratching on my Sig, I cut a thin felt sticky sheet to shape and applied that to the gun magnet. Now it’s gentler when putting my Sig on it. It did not affect the strength of the magnet at all. It does not budge when driving over rough terrain.
